I wonder if I can still ride a bike or at least do some squats.
I am ready to have kids but I am concerned about being pregnant. I like to do a gymnastic style workout every day. I vary between doing walkovers, handstands and back extensions rolls. These maneuvers use my body weight and are a lot like lifting weights. I often perform back handsprings and tucks that work the legs, shoulders and abs. I do a series of cartwheels and front handsprings that are wonderful for cardio work. No matter what I do, the whole body is working to move my body. I benefit from weight training, cardio, stretching, balance improvement and endurance work. I look great and am proud of that fact. I also look forward to achieving more advanced gymnastic elements because I have practiced. When I become pregnant, there will come a point when I have to adjust my workouts. I know I can continue to workout and follow the same routine early on in the pregnancy. Eventually, however, I will be too big to safely complete a tuck or a handSpring. I know there is a time during the pregnancy when lifting weights or elevating the heart rate isn’t recommended. That totally wrecks the point of working out! How do I keep in great shape while being pregnant? I don’t want to do nothing but eat all day. Going for walks seem so boring. I wonder if I can still ride a bike or at least do some squats. I am going to be a crazy pregnant lady trying to figure out a way to workout. It is almost like an addiction. Working out is important to me. I don’t know if I can give it up.
